I am 12 going on 13 and about to be in my first fashion show, for African-style fashions. I wear glasses, though, and I have a little extra belly fat, and bad posture. How can I get ready for my first time in the modeling world? Also, how can I get farther than this first (professional) fashion show, and on to other jobs?

I’m about to go to college in the fall and major in communications at MSU, a largely accredited University. All my life I’ve wanted to be involed in fashion whether it be writing editorials or being a buyer. Will not majoring in some type of fashion merchadising/journalism/communications degree hinder my chances of getting a fashion orientated job? Or will I be A-OK with a great degree from a major university, not focused around fashion?

I see fashion is very important for women else most of the cosmetics commercials I see on TV wouldn’t be focused on women.

What I am looking forward to understand is, how important should fashion be for a man and why?

I don’t have a sewing machine, which is really bad. DD:
I want to make my jeans tighter, they are a bit flabby near the butt and thigh area.

I heard people use the hot dryer in their washing machine, and it shrinks the jeans.
HOW do you do that?

Are there any other ways of making my jeans tighter?

Ok, so my legs are longer in respect to my body, and no matter what kind of jeans i wear, they dont look good. So what kind of jeans should i buy, any suggestions would be appreciated.

PS- My legs are sort of skinny as well.

i dont wanna wear skinny jeans either, i am saying that my legs are skinny and long, and want some kind of jeans that look good on long and skinny legs.

I know a few years back there was a fashion show (by I want to say YSL or Valentino) that featured models covered in blood. I know there is one that had a single model covered in blood acting as if she had been stabbed, but that is not it. I was just hoping someone could find out and send me a link about it. I know there is one like this, but I haven’t found it yet.

I sometimes don’t have money to go buy another pair of jeans and I have old flare styled jeans I don’t wear anymore. My grandmother can do it for me, but she lives in San Diego and I live in Los Angeles. And also, she uses a sewing machine. I know you can handsew them but I don’t know how. If you do, can you help me and expalin how?

I have a hard time getting jeans that fit. I always seem to have a baggy gap at the back of the waist because of my smaller waist proportion to larger booty. What brands are best for me? Has anyone found jeans that fit this way? Thanks!

Washing machines destroy my jeans afer a few washes. I’ve tried turning them inside out & putting them in a tied bag when I wash them. I also have tried different detergents, even “natural ones”.

Nothing helps – They always look worn out, esp black jeans.

Any suggestions ?

Yea so I like skinny jeans better but I have a lot of flare jeans and does anyone know how to do this?
