I will post the rules for my school. Could you tell me how I can ‘play it up’ a bit and make it more stylish. I feel like I am completely stuck with it for the next two years. Help!
Dress Code:
Blouse/Shirt Girls — White school tailored blouses, including knit shirts may be worn.
• Blouses/Shirt must have a collar and only the top button may remain open. Blouses and shirts must be
tucked in (not bloused over) the skirt or slacks. Undershirts must be plain white.
• Plain white turtlenecks may be worn as an extra layer under the blouse/dress shirt. They may not be worn
without a blouse/dress shirt except under the uniform jumper.
• Girls in grades 5-8 will wear uniform skirts or pants. We ask parents to make sure the length of the skirt is at
least midway between “fingertip length” and “knee length.” (They may not be rolled up at the waist.)
• Boys and girls may wear trousers/slacks. Trousers/slacks shall be solid navy blue dress slacks. Corduroy,
double knit, or twill will be permitted. No cargo style pants, sweatpants, nylon, velour, pajama, or athletic
pants. Pants may not have stripes, logos, or advertisements. A belt must be worn if the pants have belt
loops. Pants are to be worn at the waist level. Girls in Grades K to 3 may wear uniform pants under their
uniform jumper during school. Pants worn under a uniform must be solid navy or black knit. If girls in grades 4
through 8 wear long pants under their uniform skirts, they must take them off during school hours.
• Sweaters (long sleeve or sleeveless) must be navy blue classic cardigan or slip over (crew or V-neck). Gray
or Navy Blue uniform sweatshirts may also be worn.
• Socks: solid colors white, black, or navy blue is to be worn. Girls may wear solid navy, black or white tights or
tight leggings under the uniform jumper/skirt.
• Logos and writing on clothing is prohibited.
• If boots are worn to school, other shoes should be brought to school.
• Only religious jewelry may be worn and students may not wear more than one piece. (I.e.: one cross
necklace). If girls have pierced ears, they may wear only one pair of small button type earrings (no larger than
1/2 inch in diameter). Dangle and hoop earrings are not permitted.
• Makeup of any kind is not permitted. This includes fingernail polish and perfume of any kind.
If you can help at all, I would appreciate it!
Thanks

WTF!?!?! They are INSANE.
I have standarized dress at my school, but its not THAT bad…
you guys cant even wear make up and purfume..? That is DUMB.
But, I am very fashionable and neat. I would wear a pencil skirt with heals. It is super sexy. Wear a white button down blouse to go with it.
I think that’s in ur dress code.

OMG!!
THATS SUCKS!
no makeup? Bahaha.
I would wear perfume and be all, “Thats my natural smell :]”
Wear (and tell all your friends) to wear cute belts and those trnedy scarfs. Like Mrs. Jacob Black said.
Then, (I didnt see it in the dress code, but maybe it is) find really cute shoes:Flats and Pumps.
Get them in super cute patterns and all that.
Then make your uniform like preppy chic.
Im going to make a set on polyvore for you

The necklace has a cross on it.
Hope you like it and I hope it fits dresscode!!
